SITE UPDATE
I will be adding content to the Heaven and Hell site, having recently completed
coding a new interface for image selection in the Blasphemy section.
I have finally joined the 21st century and bought a DVD superdrive for my laptop.
Since buying an iPod I have filled my 80GB external drive with music (15,001
songs and counting...), so no room for backing up work. I knew I should have
spent the extra £15 on a 160GB drive.
Cool As... has now been visited by over 6,000 people.

SITE UPDATE
I have completed the next stage of my Travel site, the 1024x768 version is no
more. Now there is an optimized definitive site that should sit nicely in most
screen setups. I will endeavour to add some more pictures in the not too distant
future. I've also been working on the Heaven and Hell site in my spare time,
which does not come along very often. Evolution is a gradual process.
SWAN DANCE WEBSITE
In February I completed the Swan Dance 05 season website for The Wycombe Swan
Theatre, which is the biggest International Dance Festival outside of London.

TRAVEL SITE UPDATE
I'm back from my boarding holiday in France with Steve and Will, which was a
hell of a lot of fun. There wasn't as much snow as I was hoping for but we made
the most of what was there. The sky was cloudless and bright blue, which you
never get in England. This meant it was damned hot, which resulted in comedy
tans. I have put a bunch of pictures from the trip onto my Travel Site (in Europe:
France). I have also updated the layout of the 800x600 version of the site. I
will be updating the 1024x768 version before too long.
GIGS
Last week I went to see Jimmy Eat World play a gig in London at the Astoria.
A good gig but I was still recovering from boarding so I couldn't jump around
and had to settle with propping up the bar.
This year I will be going to loads of gigs. I have tickets for The Chemical Brothers,
Beck, Green Day, R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails V Festival and Reading Festival,
which has one of the greatest line ups ever including: Pixies (all time greatest
band of all time), Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters,
Marilyn Manson, Kings of Leon, Elbow, The Killers, The Charlatans, Incubus and
Iron Maiden. Fantastic.
I had an enjoyable Easter, catching up with the Gramps and old friends in Cambridgeshire.

SNOWBOARDING
Tonight I am heading to Les Deux Alps for a week of snowboarding. There is a
lot of snow but it is going to be damn cold, with a wind chill factor of -20°C.
The resort features some wide-open spaces, a boarder cross, fun park, and halfpipe
as well as a mile-long couloir to jump into. The Mont-de-Lans glacier, near the
top of the main mountain, is claimed by the tourist office to be the largest
skiable glacier in Europe.
I have had a hectic time of late, packing in as much as possible into every weekend.
I wont go into the details of the debauched depravity that has been taking place,
needless to say, I've had fun.

A BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR
It has been a while since I updated the site so I decided on a complete re-design
for the home page. The Christmas break is now a distant memory, the weeks flew
by in a haze of alcohol induced stupor. My trip to Scotland was very enjoyable
despite the incessant rain, the gails and the white outs. I was suitably awed
by the rugged landscape which took me back to the time I spent in New Zealand.
There are a load of pictures from the trip on my travel site in Europe: Scotland.
I didn't get to climb Ben Nevis, unfortunately, the temperature
was -22 in 100mph winds and white out conditions. So to atempt it would
have been suicide, I did get to go snowboarding in a 90mph gail. Quite an experience,
but hard work. The lifts were out so I had to trek to the top of the slopes each
time. Still, I only have to wait a few more weeks until I head to the alps for
a week of snowboarding, joy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
A very Merry Christmas everybody. In half an hour I'll be leaving work for a
nice long 19 day xmas break, joy. In that time I will be putting my liver through
it's paces. On the 3rd of January I will be heading to Scotland with some friends
for a week. We are intending to climb Ben Nevis, conditions permitting. So if
this is my last entry, I hope you enjoy the site. Not much of a legacy, but there
you go.
I have put together a Christmas card for your viewing pleasure: Xmas
Card

THE 'DAM
Last week I paid a visit to Amsterdam with my friends Stiffy and Will. We met
up with the lovely Loes, a friend from my travels in Australia. A good time was
had by all, 'nuff said. I took a few pictures with my new digital camera.
I'll put the results on my Travel site.
